AUSTRALIAPOS LICENSE AGREEMENT

TERMS & CONDITIONS

All License Holders Receive the Following Support/Products

  • Offsite Data Back-Up Every 24 Hours. Offsite backup ensures your data is always safe and protected. In the event of a disaster such as fire, theft, or a complete computer meltdown have complete peace of mind your valuable client data is protected. This is done in the background and the entire database is sent to our secure servers every 24 hours.
  • A Second License to Connect to the Salon Includes Installation and support of another copy of your salon software to connect directly to the database of your salon. (Usually from your home)
  • Online Appointments Included. Multiple locations supported. 
  • Incremental Backups occur every hour and are stored on an external memory stick (dedicated memory stick required to be always in)
  • Phone Support 9-5 pm Monday to Saturday. Phone support is for managers, owners, or key staff to access. Support Number is 03 5988 3345. 
  • Updates and Upgrades for SAM© or SAM© Health are automatic on your computer. In line with operating system updates, computer updates, internet enhancements, and as new ways of doing things SAM and SAM Health are always being enhanced, improved, and updated. Updates and upgrades ensure all our clients stay ahead and benefit from continual progress. An essential ingredient for the continuous smooth operation and growth of your business using SAM©, or SAM© Health.
  • We Listen to and act on all our client’s feedback. That is why there is an option for you to contribute your requests within the program. That request gets emailed to us the moment you save it in SAM©. This is how SAM© got to be one of Australia’s easiest and most powerful software programs for Hair and Beauty Salons and Skin clinics. All our clients have contributed to its current form. All our clients benefit. 
  • Remote Access to your Computer for Support via the internet and team viewer should we need to quickly remedy any problems that have arisen using the program or to assist you with existing features.
  • Remote Access to your Computer for Training on the use of SAM© (Salon Applications Manager) features.
  • Access to Training Videos & Listed Printable Procedures (Internet connection required).
  • Back-End Access to your Computer(s) for Quick Fixes to your Database, should it become corrupted, or any database tasks or adjustments are required.
  • Owner Receives an iPad interface license (Requires a Static IP to be installed by your local internet provider at the Salon/Clinic.
  • Upon Installation of SAM© we Ensure at the time of installation that no third-party software is blocking the Automatic updates or OFFSITE daily backups. If at any time after the installation of SAM, Antivirus, internet security program(s) or any third-party software has been installed that may block the daily OFFSITE back up to our Servers then AustraliaPOS can’t be held responsible.
  • SAM© Installations Include Services Installed on your computer which has authentication certificates and AustraliaPOS is not responsible for third-party software on your computer interfering with these services.
  • AustraliaPOS Strongly Recommend the use of surge protection equipment (Example: Surge protection power board) to be used on the computer where the database is being helped at your Salon or Clinic. This will greatly decrease the chances of the database or computer being corrupted or damaged from an electrical power surge event. 
  • If your Computer is Damaged, Stolen or the operating system or database is damaged beyond repair then AustraliaPOS will install a replacement license on your computer of choice and restore the most recent OFFSITE backup we have at no additional cost to you. This is included in your support/License fee.

AustraliaPOS License Agreement

  • This is an agreement between the owners and AustraliaPOS. This is not a contract.
  • All license holders get two copies of SAM. The second copy of SAM can be used either to connect from home or a second terminal at the salon.
  • Any Queries or disputes must be directed to AustraliaPOS head office phone number 03 5988 3345 or email support@australiapos.com.au to initiate communications on any issues relating to payments or Support.

License Payments & Failed Payments

  • You are considered a valid license holder where license/support payments are up to date.
  • License payments are monthly.
  • Where the due date falls on a non-business day, the license/support payment will be made on the next available business day.
  • AustraliaPOS will not issue an individual confirmation in the form of invoices for payments made. Payments will show on your account as “AustraliaPOS” in your statement as the reference.
  • It is your responsibility to advise Australia POS if the account nominated by you to receive the drawings is transferred or closed.
  • Failed license payments will re-attempt the next available business day until successful. 
  • Upon receiving notification from AustraliaPOS that a license payment has failed there is a set period of 14 days for the payment to be rectified. If not rectified within 14 days, the license may be suspended until resolved.
  • A suspended license means access to allocated features will be made inactive.
  • Suspended licensees can still access their data upon request.

License Transfer/Sale of Business

  • The License is transferable. New Owners will have to complete the license form to continue. 
  • If you sell the business please request a license transfer form for the new owners, who are required to complete and return it to AustraliaPOS to access the software. 

Notice of Cancellation

  • License holders are required to give 28 days’ notice via email, to terminate their license. The license will be terminated 28 days after the termination request has been received.

Price Increases

  • Price increases can occur every few years usually less than the CPI index and you will be notified via the email provided on the license form.

Privacy

  • Except to the extent that disclosure is necessary to process license/support payment, investigate or resolve disputed transactions or is required by law, Australia POS will keep your details and payments confidential.
