Single Touch Payroll Are You Ready?

As of the 1st of July 2019 the ATO require employers to report employee wage and superannuation payments via Single Touch Reporting.

Customers using SAM Payroll have two options to comply with the ATO Single Touch Payroll reporting requirements.

Option 1
Use SAM Payroll and use the DIRECT ENTRY method of reporting through the portal SINGLE TOUCH LITE,

In SINGLE TOUCH LITE you register your entity. Every pay period you enter the details via the portal for each staff member on PAYG. This should take a couple of minutes for each employee. Manual reporting using the Direct Method keeps your costs down as you continue using SAM PAYG.

Option 2
Contact your Accountant or Book Keeper for advice or for them to report for your business.
